HOT CLUB NEWS EDITION #1
(New York) The publication Forgotten Lands celebrated its forthcoming issue, Neo-Carib Visions, at the Brooklyn Museum. The sixth volume focuses on the "supersyncretic" culture of the Caribbean—a concept coined by Cuban historical novelist, essayist, and short story writer Antonio Benítez-Rojo.
(New York) After six years of operations, the bookstore Printed Matter, Inc. is closing its St Marks location in mid-October. They will continue to promote artists' books through their Chelsea store.


(New York) When one door closes, another opens. The nonprofit cultural arts center Pioneer Works has reopened in Red Hook, and is showcasing solo exhibitions by Alejandro García Contreras and Le’Andra LeSeur, and bringing back its Second Sunday series.
Natasha Rothwell, our favorite star from Insecure and White Lotus is set to executive produce and star in a TV adaptation of "Who TF Did I Marry?," a viral Tik Tok series posted by Tareasa “Reesa Teesa” Johnson earlier this year.
School’s in session and FX’s newest comedy series, English Teacher written and starring Brian Jordan Alvarez is a must watch (now streaming on Hulu).
